One of my poems, “Ми тут (We are here)” written in response to the war in Ukraine, has been published on Rust + Moth.
I am grateful to the editors for choosing it for the Summer 2022 issue, and I am happy to be able to share it with you.

This Saturday Night in the Ukrainian Village

You may recall last year when I was a featured reader for the Ukrainian American Writers: A New Generation of Literary Voices series. It was a really wonderful affair. (Read the blog entry here.)

This Saturday, November 5th at 7:00 PM, the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art is once again hosting this lovely evening!

Ukrainian American Writers will present their annual reading at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in Chicago. The featured reader this year will be Askold Melnychuk. Also reading are Alexis Buryk, Roman Skaskiw, and Virlana Tkacz. The event will include both fiction and poetry, and will be conducted in English. $10 admission, $5 for students.
