Words Keep Blowing About In Drifts

It never fails. When I plan to go to bed early, I’m hit with inspiration. When I wish to edit the larger manuscript, I’m overwhelmed with short stories. These are not bad problems to have, and I find that it certainly helps me to have several projects in the mix at any given time. I do need to finish up S.C. though, and instead I keep getting these lovely little stories. I promise myself that I’ll just jot down notes, but it never stops there.

This winter it seems the stories are everywhere.

The Groundhog Day Blizzard

You Say You Want An Evolution

Last year, several of us came together to begin a monthly creative collaborative gathering. Tonight we had a productive brainstorming session about projects we may work on in the future. It was fun and fruitful.

Now back to the revisions for the next book (S.C.) I was hoping to to finish up edits this week, although I’m at a minor crossroads.

I may sleep on it.

Another year around the sun

I’ve had a lovely day that began with no lines at the DMV when I went to renew my license and included cupcakes from my sister, so many wishes from friends near and far, and cards from the kids.

In the interest of trying new things, and in preparation for an audio book that I hope to record and release later this year, here is a video of my reading from chapter 1. I hope that you enjoy it.

You can buy The Silence of Trees on Amazon.com and signed copies through Wolfsword Press.

If you have a kindle, The Silence of Trees is only $.99 for the month of February here!

Thank you!
